Why is AppDeploy currently free?
AppDeploy is currently free under fair use, so you can start building and deploying without a credit card. We are still early and using this phase to improve reliability, UX, and platform support based on real usage.
What is included in the Free tier?
The Free tier includes AppDeploy's current core features: - Chat-native deployment from ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Codex, Antigravity, and other MCP-compatible tools - Managed hosting, HTTPS, and global delivery - Hosted live URL on AppDeploy - Custom domains (currently available during early access) - Installable web app (PWA) experience with push notifications - Backend runtime with API routes - Database, file storage, and secrets management - Authentication (sign-up, login, user identity) - Real-time sync across users - Native AI capabilities (text, images, voice, runtime, scraping) - Scheduled (cron) jobs - Autonomous AI QA on every deploy - Version history and instant rollback - Source access (inspect deployed code) - Platform security: isolated environments, sandboxed execution, encrypted transport, access controls
What does fair use mean?
Fair use means reasonable usage for building, testing, and sharing apps. If usage becomes unusually high, team-based, or production-scale, we may contact you about Business access or a higher fair-use ceiling.
Can I use a custom domain?
Yes. Custom domains are currently available during early access - just ask the chat and it will guide you through the setup. In the future, custom domains may become part of Business or paid plans.
What is Business access?
Business access is handled manually for teams and higher-usage apps that need higher limits, higher AI usage / credits, custom domains, no AppDeploy watermark, bulk source export, or additional support. Contact us at sales@appdeploy.ai for access.
Can I remove the AppDeploy watermark?
Watermark removal is available through Business access.
Are there self-service paid plans?
Not yet. AppDeploy plans to add self-service paid tiers in the future, while keeping a free tier available.
Will I have to pay at some point? If so, when?
AppDeploy is currently free to use under fair-use limits, with Business access available today for teams that need higher usage limits, custom domains, higher AI usage / credits, no AppDeploy watermark, or priority support. We may introduce self-service paid tiers in the future for a subset of services or usage levels, while keeping a free tier available. We do not have a timeline to share. Any future paid tiers will be announced clearly before they affect existing usage.
Do I need a paid AI-tool plan to use AppDeploy?
AppDeploy does not require a credit card to start. Some AI platforms, such as ChatGPT or Claude, may require their own paid plan for advanced usage. As of writing, both ChatGPT and Claude offer a free tier.
