What is Community Dares?
Community Dares is a fitness challenge board demo where people post dares, accept them, and log attempts with notes and time. It is a lively example of a social fitness app with AI hype reactions for completed workouts.
Key features of Community Dares
The app supports a global dare feed, private rooms with invite codes, attempt logs, category cards, local username storage, real-time attempt updates, and ranked attempt lists. Users can create challenges for friends, teams, or public fitness communities.
How Community Dares was built
The source uses a React single-page app and AppDeploy backend routes for dares, attempts, rooms, room lookup, room-specific dares, and subscriptions. The backend stores challenge data, updates attempt counts, and calls ai.generate to create short motivational reactions.
Prompt used to build Community Dares
AppDeploy a community fitness dare board where anyone can post a dare like "100 pushups in one sitting", others can accept it and log their attempt with notes and time, and a leaderboard ranks everyone who completed it.... AI gives a short hype reaction to every attempt
