Deploy apps from Devin - setup guide

This guide shows how to connect AppDeploy to Devin so you can deploy apps from your Devin sessions and get a live URL back.

Add it once as a custom MCP server, then ask Devin to build and deploy.

Step-by-step Instructions

  1. In Devin, open Settings → Connections → MCP servers and click Add a custom MCP.

Adding custom MCP servers requires the Manage MCP Servers permission. If you don’t see the button, ask your organization admin or use Suggest MCP Integration.

  2. Name it AppDeploy, choose the HTTP transport, and enter the AppDeploy MCP URL:

    https://api-v2.appdeploy.ai/mcp
  3. Save the server. When prompted, complete the sign-in: Google, Apple, X, or Guest

  4. Click Test listing tools to confirm the connection - you should see the AppDeploy tools listed.

  5. Setup is done! Start a Devin session and ask it to build your app - it will use AppDeploy to deploy it. For example:

“Build a Hello Devin webpage with a global visitor counter and deploy it with AppDeploy.”
