Deploy apps from Cline - setup guide

This guide shows how to connect AppDeploy to Cline so you can deploy apps from your agent chat and get a live URL back.

Cline runs in many editors and hosts, so the steps below are general. The exact labels vary, but the flow is the same everywhere.

Step-by-step Instructions

  1. In Cline, open the MCP Servers view (the MCP servers menu, or the option to configure MCP servers)

  2. Add a remote server and enter the AppDeploy MCP URL:

    https://api-v2.appdeploy.ai/mcp

  3. Once the server is enabled, finalize authorization when Cline prompts you to authenticate

  4. Pick how to sign in: Google, Apple, X, or Guest

  5. Setup is done! Ask Cline to build your app and it will use AppDeploy to deploy it. For example:

    “Build a Hello Cline webpage with a global visitor counter and deploy it with AppDeploy.”
