Deploy apps from CLI coding agents - setup guide

This guide shows how to connect AppDeploy to Codex CLI and Claude Code CLI so you can deploy apps directly from your terminal and get a live URL back.

Follow the steps below to set it up once, then deploy whenever you’re ready, without leaving your CLI.

Codex CLI

codex mcp add AppDeploy --url https://api-v2.appdeploy.ai/mcp

Open Codex CLI, run /mcp, and authenticate AppDeploy.

Claude Code CLI

claude mcp add -t http AppDeploy https://api-v2.appdeploy.ai/mcp

Open Claude Code CLI, run /mcp, and authenticate AppDeploy.
