Deploy apps from ChatGPT - setup guide

This guide shows how to connect AppDeploy to ChatGPT so you can deploy apps from chat and get a live URL back.

Follow the steps below to set it up once, then deploy whenever you’re ready, without leaving ChatGPT.

Note: To install third-party apps, you need a paid ChatGPT account.

Step-by-step Guide

  1. Open chatgpt.com from your browser and click your account name in the bottom-left corner, then click Settings

    Click Settings in account menu
  2. Select Apps from the Settings side menu, then click Advanced settings

    Select Apps and click Advanced settings
  3. Enable Developer mode

  4. Click Create app

    Click Create app
  5. In the new app screen, enter:

    Name:

    AppDeploy

    MCP Server URL:

    https://api-v2.appdeploy.ai/mcp

    and click Create

    Fill in app details and click Create
  6. An authentication screen should automatically open. Select how you’d like to sign in to AppDeploy: Google, Apple, or Guest.

  7. That’s it! Close the Settings window and you’re all set to deploy your first app.

  8. It’s recommended to select GPT-5.1 Thinking model when working in developer mode for fast responses.
